  • How do I register my adult sports league team for a program?

    Team captains or managers can register their team by selecting the desired adult sports league program and completing the registration form on TeamSideline. After submitting the registration, payment must be completed separately through Kentwood Parks & Recreation’s registration system using the league’s payment link. Your team’s spot is not finalized until payment is received.

  • How do I register as an individual on an already paid team?

    If your team captain has already registered and paid for the team, you can join by registering as an individual player for that team through TeamSideline. Select the correct league, choose your team, and complete the required player information and waivers. No additional team payment is needed if your team has already paid in full.

  • How do I add players to my roster?

    Team captains or managers can add players to their roster through TeamSideline if a player does not register on their own. Captains should log in to their TeamSideline account, go to their team page or roster section, and add the player’s information as needed. All players may still be required to complete any necessary waivers or participant information before being eligible to play.

  • Can I get a refund if my team withdraws?

    If Kentwood Parks & Recreation cancels a league, a full refund will be issued. Cancellations made 30 or more days before the start date will receive a refund minus a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued less than 30 days before the league starts, though household credits may be considered for emergency situations.

  • What is included in the registration fee?

    Registration fees typically cover league administration, scheduling, officials (if applicable), and facility usage. 

  • When will schedules be posted?

    We make every effort to post league schedules within 5 business days of the league starting. However, this timeline can vary depending on how close to the deadline teams register, since late signups may impact divisions, matchups, and the final schedule.

  • How can I contact the organization with questions?

    You can contact us through the email address or contact form listed on our website. Our team will respond as quickly as possible during regular business hours.

  • Where do I find league rules?

    League rules can be found in the Downloads tab. Please review those rules before the season begins, as they may vary by league or sport.

  • What equipment is required?

    Required equipment varies by sport and program. Any mandatory items will be listed on the program page or shared by Kentwood Parks and Recreation prior to the first program week.

  • How will I receive updates and announcements?

    All updates are sent via email and posted on the website. Please ensure your contact information is accurate so you don’t miss important communications.

  • Are games played on holidays?

    Holiday schedules vary by program. Any planned games or breaks will be communicated in advance.

  • What is the organization's code of conduct?

    All team managers, players, and spectators are expected to display respectful and sportsmanlike behavior. Team managers are responsible for the conduct of their players and spectators. Unacceptable behavior includes excessive profanity, verbal abuse toward officials, continual arguing, use of alcohol, smoking marijuana on city property, physical violence, or other disruptive conduct.

  • Do all players need to complete a waiver?

    Yes. All players must complete any required waiver information before they are eligible to participate.
